The Team at Castlebank

Our excellent team of highly skilled and motivated staff are led, and supported, by the registered Manager. Our senior team have a significant wealth and breadth of knowledge, skills and experience caring for the elderly and those with mental health (including dementia), residential care and end of life needs.

Most of the team including Care staff, housekeepers and catering staff have achieved or working towards higher National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in care, housekeeping and hospitality services.

ALL our staff are DBS checked to assist us in identifying any person who might pose a risk to service users. This ensures that anyone who has ever had any type of police record is appropriately risk assessed, before being employed by the Home.

Staff Commitment

Our commitment to quality is evident in our staffing levels and they are constantly reviewed to reflect the needs of our residents. We employ an Activities Co-ordinator so that residents can be involved in meaningful in-house and external activities. Our on-site catering enables us to provide ‘home cooked’ meals using fresh local ingredients as well as refreshments that reflect the wishes and desires our residents. The prevention of infection is also a high priority and we have 2 housekeepers that work on a rota basis to ensure the home is always clean
and fresh.
